This past year the John Glenn School of Public Affairs has seen tremendous growth with the addition of new faculty, staff, students, and program offerings. We are looking forward to expanding the Glenn School’s reach a recruitment efforts for the 2011 academic year.
We will be recruiting students locally and nationally through college visits, meetings with faculty, class visits, marketing efforts, and graduate school fairs. Much of the travel/ recruitment efforts take place from September through November; however, we also recruit students year round with targeted marketing efforts, informational sessions and open house events.
We hope that you will help to support our recruitment efforts as we continue to attract high achieving students interested in public affairs. We have several ways for you to help based upon your availability and interests.

COLUMBUS INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS:
We will be holding several on-campus visitation days and informational sessions for the MPA, In-Career MA, dual degree, and Ph.D. programs. Tentative dates have been selected for the sessions and will be posted online in the next few weeks. These sessions will be held at the OSU campus or at various locations in Columbus during the lunch hour or after 5:00pm.
OHIO INFORMATION SESSIONS:
A listing for Ohio schools we will be visiting this fall will be posted soon.
NATIONAL RECRUITMENT:
We rely heavily on the location and assistance of alumni/ae for our national recruitment efforts. Even if we currently do not have something set up in a specific area, we often are able to contact a local college or university to schedule an informational session, class visit, or tabling event.
INTERNATIONAL RECRUITMENT:
We are working on recruiting students internationally. If you are living and/or working abroad we would love your help with our international recruitment efforts.
PROSPECTIVE STUDENT CONTACT:
We are always seeking out alumni/ae who are willing to serve as a contact for prospective students via phone or email.
