Steven Adams, a master’s degree student in the Glenn School spoke to a number of social-services providers in about the effect tax-increment-financing districts (TIFs) have on revenue from their respective property tax levies. Adams’ thesis suggests agencies with property tax levies will annually lose $31 per TIF for each person they serve over the life of the TIF. Read more

Washington Policy Forum

To encourage collaboration and resource sharing among the many universities and other institutions that have a presence on Capitol Hill, the John Glenn School of Public Affairs and WISH (Washington Intern Student Housing) are hosting a speakers series. The events have attracted many of the Glenn School's alumni and friends in the D.C. area, many of whom are serving as mentors to the Glenn Fellows.
