Kiersten Ahrns

Kiersten Ahrns is a senior from Dublin, Ohio, majoring in Environmental Policy and Decision Making, with a minor in Health, Environment, Risk and Science Communication. Ms. Ahrns previously served as an intern in the Division of Forestry within the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, a Parent Directed Program Worker at Franklin County Residential Services, a Clerk Page in the Ohio Senate, and as a University Tele-counselor. On campus, she is involved in the Mortar Board Senior Class Honorary and is in Alpha Xi Delta Women’s Fraternity. Ms. Ahrns will intern at the National Association of State Foresters.

Jordan Amann

Jordan Amann is a senior from Findlay, Ohio, majoring in Public Health with a minor in Neuroscience. Ms. Amann previously served as a Data Resource Intern at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the College of Public Health at Ohio State, and a Summer Aide at Marathon Petroleum Company in Findlay, Ohio. On campus, she serves as the Vice President of Finance for the Operation Smile Club. Ms. Amann will intern at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Genevieve Bois

Genevieve Bois is a senior from Hamilton, Ohio, majoring in International Studies with a minor in Arabic. Ms. Bois has served as an English as a Second Language Tutor at Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services, a volunteer with Columbus Parks and Recreation, and as a Student Assistant in the Middle Eastern Studies department at Ohio State University Libraries. On campus, Ms. Bois is involved with Students for Refugees, Arabic Club and Pride OSU. Ms. Bois will intern at JHPIEGO, working on USAID’s Maternal and Child Survival Program.

Adam Duffy

Adam Duffy is a junior from Kettering, Ohio, majoring in Sociology and Public Affairs with a specialization in Education Policy and a minor in Economics. Mr.Duffy previously served as a Community Outreach Intern for Citizens for Stinziano, a Research Assistant for the Sociology Department at Ohio State and as a Counselor for Camp Kasem. On campus, he has served as a Resident Advisor, an Office Assistant, and is an active member of OSU Arts Scholars. Mr. Duffy will be interning at the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Innovation and Improvement.

Jacob Fornof

Jacob Fornof is a senior from Reynoldsburg, Ohio, majoring in Political Science with minors in Music, Media & Enterprise and Public Policy. He previously served as a Student Incident Response Specialist with the Office of Distance Education and eLearning at Ohio State, and as a music instructor at Columbus Music Academy. In his free time, Mr. Fornof volunteers at the Mid-Ohio Food Bank and at A Ladybug’s Helping Hand, a homeless shelter in the Columbus area. Mr. Fornof will intern at the U.S. Committee on the Marine Transportation System.

Christopher Hauer

Christopher Hauer is a senior from Kirtland, Ohio, majoring in Political Science and International Studies with a minor in Japanese. He previously served as a Research Assistant with the Department of Political Science at Ohio State and was a Campaign Intern with the Ohio House Republican Caucus. On campus, he served as the President of the Japanese Conversation Club. Mr. Hauer will intern at the Office of National Drug Control Policy in the Executive Office of the President.

Aaron Kelley

Aaron Kelley is a senior from Akron, Ohio, majoring in Public Management, Leadership and Policy, and Political Science with a minor in Psychology. He previously served as a Research Intern at the Ohio Education and Research Center, as a Finance Intern at Friends of Sherrod Brown, and as an intern with the Ohio Democratic Party. He is an Eagle Scout and is the Épeé Captain of the Fencing Club at Ohio State. Mr. Kelley will intern at EMC Research.

Emily Lipstraw

Emily Lipstraw a senior from Sandusky, Ohio, majoring in Economics and Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. She previously worked in the Undergraduate Admissions Office as a Student Fiscal Data Assistant, served as a Non-Profit Management Intern at the National Alliance on Mental Illness in Franklin County and served as a Student Tutor in the Student-Athlete Support Services Office at Ohio State. Ms. Lipstraw will intern at the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Ronald Puckett

Ronald Puckett is a senior from Gahanna, Ohio, majoring in Economics with minors in Public Policy and Agronomy. He has previously served as a Soil Sampling Intern with Quasar, worked as a Sous Chef at Club Isabella and Local 127 and as a Service Associate at Marcella’s. Mr. Puckett has also traveled to Chile to study agro-ecology and compare Chilean and American agriculture, markets and food regulations. Mr. Puckett will intern with U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown.

Eva Scott

Eva Scott is a junior from Grand Rapids, Ohio, majoring in Agricultural Communication and Political Science. She previously served as a Student Office Assistant within Ohio State’s Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs and with the University of Toledo Police Department. On campus, she is a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and University College Democrats. Ms. Scott will intern with the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry.

Alaina Sliwinski

Alaina Sliwinski is a junior from Hamilton, Ohio, majoring in Business Administration and French with a minor in Music Enterprise. Previously, she interned as a Corporate Analyst Development Program Intern with JPMorgan Chase, and as a Financial Intern with NASA Glenn Research Center. She also studied at the Institute for American Universities in Paris, France. Ms. Sliwinski will intern with the Twenty-First Century Group, a bipartisan consulting firm.

Precious Tate

Precious Tate is a senior from Toldeo, Ohio, majoring in Public Management, Leadership and Policy on the Pre-law track. She previously interned for the Office of the Ohio Attorney General in the Civil Rights Division, the Office of the Ohio Public Defender in the Juvenile Division, and as a Legislative Page in the Ohio House and Senate. On campus, she is the President of the NAACP, OSU Chapter and volunteers with the Legal Aid Society of Columbus. Ms. Tate will intern at the Federal Judicial Center.

Chelsy Taylor

Chelsy Taylor is a senior from Akron, Ohio, majoring in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Forensics. She previously served as a Legislative Intern in the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus and as an Ohio Senate Page. In addition, she serves a mentor for KIPP Columbus and is a member of Zuuva Dance Team at Ohio State. Ms. Taylor will intern at the Federal Judicial Center.

Ben Weber

Ben Weber is a junior from Powell, Ohio, majoring in Finance and Public Management, Leadership and Policy. Mr. Weber previously served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant with the Max M. Fisher College of Business, as a Government Relations Intern for the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and as a Legislative Intern in the Ohio House of Representatives. Mr. Weber will intern at Nucor Public Affairs.
