Abby Falcone

John Glenn Graduate Fellow

Abby Falcone completed her Bachelor of Arts in Public Management, Leadership and Policy with minors in Business and Communications from The Ohio State University. During both her undergraduate and graduate career, Ms. Falcone interned for the Ohio Department of Transportation in the Office of Jobs & Commerce. As part of her internship, Ms. Falcone focused on workforce development through a transportation lens and provided quantitative and qualitative support to make data-driven funding decisions. This internship experience has reaffirmed her interest in government agencies. Throughout her undergraduate career, she served as a University Ambassador and a member of the Undergraduate Student Government. Ms. Falcone also completed internships at A Kid Again, US Together, and volunteered with the American Red Cross in her free time.

Abby chose the MPA-DC program to build a robust foundation in Washington D.C. for her future career. Ms. Falcone chose the MPA program because she believes that the program will equip her with the tools to turn her passions into policy. She hopes to use her coursework and skills from the MPA program to pursue her passion for social justice and serving others.

The Glenn College has been a home for Ms. Falcone since her first year of college, and she has loved the strong community aspect that comes with being a John Glenn student. Abby chose the Glenn College because of the passionate students, the supportive faculty and staff, and the emphasis on hands-on learning, especially through the MPA-DC program. She is excited to live out the College’s mission in Washington, D.C.
