Research Centers and Collaboratives
Ohio Education Research Center
The Ohio Education Research Center addresses critical issues of education practice and policy through a preschool-through-workforce research agenda. The OERC identifies and shares successful practices, responds to the needs of educators and policymakers in Ohio and across the nation, and signals emerging trends.
Battelle Center for Science, Engineering and Public Policy
The Battelle Center’s mission is to develop the talent, technologies and multidisciplinary teams that support innovation, strategic decision making and research for the public interest. Research, curriculum and co-curricular programing prepare the future workforce with skills to tackle complex problems that require technical expertise and understanding of the public policy landscape.
SPARK Ohio Project
The SPARK Ohio (Strengthening Partnerships and Responses for Kids and Families) Project, funded by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), uses a community-based support approach to address law enforcement responses to drug overdose, and to understand how Ohio children are affected by the overdose crisis.
