Christina Dressel

Doctoral Candidate

Hometown: Grand Rapids, MI

Research Interests: My research focuses on inequality and organizational change in the nonprofit sector. Through the lens of institutional theory, I am interested in how actors within nonprofit organizations make sense of justice and accountability in their everyday work and in turn, how these understandings influence organizational practices. I am also interested in exploring how place, space, and technology shape organizational sensemaking and community outcomes. I utilize mixed methods, including computational approaches.
