What inspires you to work in public service?
Growing up in a military family, I observed the importance of serving others from an early age. I am excited by the opportunity to improve the lives of others through meaningful policy.

What is your major, and do you have any minors or specializations?
Major: Public Policy, leadership, and management. Minors: State and Local Government, Educational Policy, History.

What coursework or academic experiences have most shaped your interests in policy, leadership or public service?
Being a member of the John Glenn Learning Living Community and taking courses such as 2120 - Introduction to Civic Engagement thoroughly shaped my perspective on what it means to be an engaged and beneficial citizen.

What specific skills or experiences do you bring to your internship?
I am very good at time management and attention to detail. I have an extremely strong work ethic and seek to improve myself as a worker and team member in every situation.

What strengths do you most rely on when collaborating with others?
I am very empathic, which allows me to create meaningful connections with others and have an understanding of others' challenges and experiences.

What are your career goals and how do you hope this fellowship will support your professional journey?
I am excited to expand my professional experience through the WAIP program as a student as well as an intern. I hope to become more confident in the workplace as well as in event spaces.

What is your favorite or most impactful project from a previous role?
As an intern on the John Glenn College's Service to Service program, my work for military-connected students has been particularly meaningful through my ability to give back to the military community.
