Leonor Camarena came to the O'Neill School in 2022 as an assistant professor. Previously she was an assistant professor in the School of Public Affairs and Administration at Rutgers University-Newark. Her research addresses both established and emerging issues related to public management, nonprofit management, and local government and focuses broadly on representation, leadership, gender, and diversity in public and nonprofit organizations. She earned her Ph.D. in public administration and public policy from Arizona State University.
