Join us for an engaging town hall discussion about education policies that are shaping the future of public education in Ohio. Moderated by Glenn College graduate Paolo DeMaria, president and CEO of the National Association of State Boards of Education and former Ohio State Superintendent of Public Instruction, the conversation will examine how federal, state and local governments influence everything from classroom resources to curriculum decisions and how policy choices impact equity, accountability and student opportunities.

With reference to current events in Ohio’s public school classrooms including school choice, religious classes during school time and parents’ role in curriculum, this session will debate the responsibilities the government should hold in ensuring access to quality education for all students.
