The healthcare debate in the U.S. is a complex, ongoing conversation focused on how to expand coverage, control costs, and reform a system that blends public and private insurance. Key questions—such as the government’s role in healthcare, whether it’s a right or a commodity, and the effectiveness of policies like the Affordable Care Act versus alternatives like a single-payer system—continue to spark passionate debate across the country.

Join fellow students for a dynamic, nonpartisan discussion on the current state and future of healthcare policy. Hear from experts, exchange perspectives, and explore how the next generation can help shape solutions to one of the most pressing issues of our time.

Town Hall Talks foster community and dialogue on critical public issues. These interactive discussions will be facilitated by subject matter experts and are intended to extend classroom learning and provide space for students to explore diverse viewpoints on current public policy, political issues and sometimes contentious topics.

Registration is required; please register by November 3.
