Preventing Chronic Homelessness-Addressing Youth Disconnection and Housing Insecurity

Each year, four million youth, ages 14-24, experience homelessness in the United States. The top reasons youth find themselves in this circumstance are disconnection from family and lack of affordable housing options. We’ve invited Anne Bischoff, CEO of Star House, to provide an overview of the state of youth homelessness and the solutions identified in nearly two decades of federally-funded research at this month’s Brown Bag Talk. This event is free, but registration is required.

Brown Bag Virtual Talks are hosted by the Glenn College Alumni Society with the purpose to provide insight and encourage discussion amongst Glenn College alumni around current topics.
