Kevin Goolsby

John Glenn Graduate Fellow

Kevin Goolsby is a combined degree student where he is pursuing both his Bachelor of Arts in Management, Leadership and Public Policy and Master of Public Administration. He will earn his Bachelor of Arts in Spring 2022. Prior to beginning his Master of Public Administration, Mr. Goolsby worked with numerous youth development programs, with the most recent being Columbus’ Pathways 2 Progress program. Mr. Goolsby’s experience with at-risk youth fuels his passion for urban policy while previous coursework has deepened his understanding of urban policy contexts. Through his undergraduate experience, he served as a committee chair for the Stadium Scholarship Program and an ambassador for the Department of Social Change while gaining internship experience with Franklin County’s Economic Development and Planning Department.

Mr. Goolsby chose the MPA-DC program to jumpstart his career in the nation’s capital while gaining and applying tangible skills. Mr. Goolsby looks to use the knowledge and skills gained from coursework to impact inner cities throughout the country.

Mr. Goolsby has been a part of the Glenn College for the past four years and carries a deep appreciation for the College’s carefully developed curriculum and supportive staff. Mr. Goolsby is grateful for the opportunity to intern in the nation’s capital and is excited to grow alongside his peers.
