Lauren Doocy

Postdoctoral Scholar

Lauren Doocy is a postdoctoral scholar specializing in computational data science and administrative data management. Her primary line of research applies computational modeling to areas of public interest such as urban accessibility, food environment, community-engaged food security, drinking and driving prevalence and risk, education opportunity and workforce development. She offers data processing, analysis and visualization expertise to multidisciplinary teams by improving data literacy within all phases of research.

Doocy earned her PhD in modeling and simulation at the Institute for Simulation and Training at the University of Central Florida. She received her masters in applied and computational mathematics from Florida State University and her bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics from Simpson College.
