Matthew Bango

Matthew Bango is a senior project manager at Amtrak overseeing State of Good Repair (SOGR) infrastructure renewal initiatives across the Northeast Corridor. A certified Project Management Professional, Bango helped manage the delivery of Amtrak’s new $2 billion high-speed fleet, which launched in August 2025. Previously, he worked on public policy initiatives at The ONE Campaign and the Recording Academy.

Bango holds a Master of Public Administration from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy Analysis from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University.
