Column: Civics Must Be Taught, New Online Portal Can Help

For a democracy to thrive, it relies on an informed and active citizenry. It is time to rededicate to civics education, for it is through civics that the people will know when and how to stand up for themselves, and more importantly exactly how to make sure that public and private systems work to deliver results for the good of the state and the nation.
