Mac Lang, a John Glenn College of Public Affairs Senior, took home the first-place award at the Denman Undergraduate Research Forum on March 8. Lang completed a research project on the policy implications of China’s COVID-19 vaccine distribution with faculty advisor Dr. Caroline Wagner.
After an internship with the State Department, Lang wanted to continue exploring global health diplomacy. He presented preliminary results at the Denman Forum and is now writing and defending his thesis using the data he collected.
On the most beneficial part of this experience, Lang said: "This has really helped me grow in my organization and management. Between massive data sheets, citations, and reports, there has been a lot of information to manage. Keeping it all organized has been challenging, but the skills will serve me well in future projects."
