Glenn College Advances Again in Latest U.S. News & World Report Rankings

The John Glenn College of Public Affairs advanced from 19th to 16th in the 2024 U.S. News & World Report rankings of America’s Best Graduate Schools announced this week.

For the 10th year, the college is in the top 10% of the public affairs graduate professional degree programs on the list.

Three specialty areas also improved rankings over last year:

  • nonprofit management, 9 (2023 ranking: 11)
  • local government, 18 (2023 ranking: 21)
  • public finance, 25 (2023 ranking: 26)

The Glenn College is also ranked in four other specialty areas: public management and leadership (7), social policy (19), public policy analysis (20) and urban policy (22).  

“There are so many strong public affairs programs in the country. The Glenn College is honored to be ranked with such an esteemed group of schools committed to producing the next generation of public servants,” said Dean Trevor Brown. 

This year U.S. News & World Report ranked 271 public affairs schools. The Glenn College remains the top public affairs program among nine ranked in Ohio.
