Trevor Brown Named Interim Executive Vice President and Provost
While Brown’s appointment as interim executive vice president and provost will begin immediately, pending Board of Trustees approval, he will continue to hold the title of dean of the Glenn College through April 30.
Ohio State University President Ravi V. Bellamkonda announced today that Trevor Brown will serve as interim executive vice president and provost for a two-year term, pending approval by the university’s Board of Trustees.
In the spirit of John and Annie Glenn, I’m honored to serve Ohio State’s students, faculty, staff and alumni and advance the university’s academic programs.
“I’m also excited for the Glenn College — Dr. Stephanie Moulton is an exceptional academic leader who will continue the college’s commitment to inspiring citizenship and developing leadership in the public and nonprofit sectors,” Brown said. “We look forward to working with her on the Council of Deans and the many program areas in which our Glenn College excels.”
As interim provost, Brown will lead programs and initiatives in the Office of Academic Affairs, overseeing deans of all Ohio State’s colleges, regional campuses and University Libraries, as well as the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge.
Most of all, Dr. Brown is a dedicated public servant.
