What inspires you to work in public service?
What inspires me to work in public service is my personal experience dealing with eczema. Growing up, I struggled with severe eczema, impacting my daily life. This caused me to become interested in the affordability of healthcare and want to intern with a congressional office to see how life changing policy gets put into action.

What is your major, and do you have any minors or specializations?
Public Policy Analysis with a specialization in Education Policy and and minor in Dance

What coursework or academic experiences have most shaped your interests in policy, leadership or public service?
The coursework that has shaped my interest in policy is taking public management and getting to see how to have inclusive conversations being facilitated as a student.

What specific skills or experiences do you bring to your internship?
The specific skills that I bring to my internship is fluent in both French and English, excel, and canvas. The experiences that I bring to my internship is constituent engagement, policy research, and attending legislative sessions but in Ohio legislatures.

What strengths do you most rely on when collaborating with others?
The strengths I rely on when collaborating with other is making sure they feel comfortable and included in environment, listening to others, and taking the lead in moments of need.

What are your career goals and how do you hope this fellowship will support your professional journey?
I hope to eventually work in federal government and I hope this fellowship will support my professional journey by learning more about public policy.

What is your favorite or most impactful project from a previous role?
My most favorite project was starting a professional public policy fraternity and getting work with people I have completely different political beliefs. This is very impactful as it made me learn more about how communication is key to success.
