Financial aid cannot be used over summer unless a student requests it, which may impact aid balance for upcoming semesters. All students interested in summer should talk to SFA and request a sample budget before applying to the program. 

Summer is incredibly competitive for internships. Students will need to apply to 7 opportunities per week until they are placed. Summer internships can finalize as late as early May, depending on the sector.
