Zakary Campbell works with Professor Stephanie Moulton, Professor Rachel Dwyer, and Associate Professor Meta Brown on projects involving the Ohio State University Consumer Credit Panel. He maintains and integrates the credit panel data as well as other linked data sets from the state of Ohio. Additionally, he performs analyses for several projects using the credit panel data.
Campbell received his PhD in economics from Columbia University in 2024. His dissertation included chapters within the fields of crime economics, behavioral economics health economics and political economy, showcasing his wide interest across the economic discipline. Prior to enrolling at Columbia, he spent three years working with economists Dr. Justine Hastings, Dr. Jesse Shapiro, Dr. Eric Chyn and Dr. Emily Oster at the Rhode Island Innovative Policy Lab (RIIPL) researching policy impacts and potential policy nudges within the state of Rhode Island.
