Andrew Blatter

Dr Andrew Blatter has more than ten years managing large datasets to for research and program evaluation across different sectors within Education and Public Affairs.

During his graduate studies in Public Administration and Higher Education Policy Studies, he worked for both the Ohio and Tennessee Departments of Education, conducting research and analysis primarily supporting educator evaluation. Along with his advisor, he also received funding from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation to produce analyses around the experiences of high-achieving, low-income students across the United States, including analyses for the report True Merit. He also spent several years in various data analysis roles in the University of Arizona. He has spent the last four years working as a data analyst at Florida Gulf Coast University (College of Education) and now The Ohio State University (Graduate School).

His research has focused on inequities in higher education access, both in access to higher education and experiences of underrepresented students while in college. Data analysis projects have addressed longitudinal trends of student outcomes for program evaluation and national accreditation at the College and University levels.
