Carly Fitz

Program Coordinator

As program assistant in Professional Development at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, Carly Fitz works in coordination with our operations and program managers to deliver high quality professional engagement opportunities for the public sector. Through the student residential program NEW Leadership, MAPS courses and executive leadership academies such as Public Safety Leadership Academy (PSLA), Fitz coordinates registration and logistics to help attendees make the most of their professional endeavors.

Fitz has worked in the public sector since graduating from Wilmington College in 2021 with degrees in agricultural communications and political science with a specialization of food policy and agriculture advocacy. Prior to joining Ohio State, she served a year with AmeriCorps to expand broadband access in rural Southeastern Ohio and later became a development specialist to improve economic development in coal-impacted communities. Fitz serves on the Ohio Farm Bureau Young Agriculture Professional State Committee and is pursuing her MPA through the Glenn College.
