Eric Meyer

Instructor

Born and raised in the Central Ohio area, Eric brings a passion for continuing to grow Reynoldsburg in an equity way that meets current and future challenges.

Before joining Reynoldsburg, Eric was responsible for managing and growing business relationships and attracting  new employers from targeted industries to the City of Dublin. Eric also managed the financing, development and construction of multimillion dollar affordable and workforce housing developments in Milwaukee, Chicago, and Columbus for both national and local developers. Eric also worked at the Columbus Downtown Development Corporation and Capital South. In this role Eric managed the solicitation and contracting of public projects such as a new combined park and parking garage, and worked with a range of public and private stakeholders in order to see complex projects through from planning, to concept, to reality.

Eric is a member of the International Economic Development Council, Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) Advisory Board, serves as Secretary of the John Glenn College of Public Affairs Alumni Society, and as a Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) Commissioner. A two-time graduate of the Ohio State University, Eric has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in History, Master of Public Administration, Master of Science in Agricultural, Environment, and Development Economics as well as a Master of Education from John Carroll University. Eric lives in the Franklin Park section of Columbus with his wife Megan, son Theo, and his 16 pound dachshund Ralphie.
