Ethan Rivera

Student Programming Lead

Ethan Rivera manages student community events and runs professional trainings for the Battelle Center for Science, Engineering and Public Policy. He co-instructs Rapid Innovation for Public Impact and maintains relationships with private and public organizations that partner with the center and its students.

Rivera earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from The Ohio State University and started his career in a forensic psychology practice before working in the Child Development Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital specializing in psychological testing and behavior management for children with developmental concerns. He is committed to building and strengthening the arts community in Columbus; running an open mic poetry show; coaching high school, college, and adult level poets at national competitions; and growing the community around the common goal of creating art and brave spaces to tell stories.
