Glenn College Welcome Week Social

Students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to gather on the lawn outside Page Hall as the Glenn College's welcome week comes to a close. Join in on the fun, learn how to get involved, grab a snack and challenge your professors to games! 

Throughout the event you are encouraged to play each other in various games and each win will earn a point. No formal teams and the honor system will be upheld for point keeping.

3:30 p.m.

Students vs. Faculty/Staff: Defy Gravity - Using only one hand, each player must keep two balloons from touching the ground for one minute. No holding the balloons!

4:15 p.m.

Students vs. Faculty/Staff: Egg Race – Players get a spoon with an egg and must run a short distance without dropping it. This challenge relay-style with teams!

5:00 p.m.

Students vs. Faculty/Staff: Junk In The Trunk – Construct a fanny pack from spare tissue boxes, ping pong balls, and a belt or rope; then place an equal number of balls in the tissue box and attach it to your back. Players will then need to shake and jump to get the balls out inside a minute. The player with the most balls successfully removed wins the game.
