Jeffrey Shero

Instructor

Dr. Jeffrey Shero is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Peabody College of Education at Vanderbilt University. There, Jeffrey conducts research on quantitative methodologies, science and research policy, and individual differences in cognitive development. In addition to this, Jeffrey also serves as a consultant for the Florida Department of Health, Division of Children’s Medical Services, where he has worked for three years in health policy and biostatistics/epidemiology. Jeffrey is also a staunch advocate for promoting open science and transparent research practices. In this area, he helped develop the first education specific data repository, LDBase.org, and now develops workshops and trainings to help remove existing barriers to open science. Jeffrey is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and the John Glenn College, receiving a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science. Jeffrey additionally has his Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology and a Master of Science in Developmental Psychology, both from Florida State University.
