Jenna Reese

POWER Commissioner

Jenna Reese became the executive director of the Ohio Forestry Association in February of 2022. She directs the mission and strategy of the member-based trade association, under the guidance of the board of directors, advocating for Ohio’s forest products industry. She also serves the industry through various boards and organizations: Real American Hardwood Coalition, National Council of Forestry Association Executives, Agricultural Advisory Committee to the Ohio Department of Taxation, and Sustainable Forestry Initiative – Ohio. Prior to her time with OFA, Jenna was the director of state policy for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation where she advocated for Ohio’s farmers and rural landowners before the Ohio General Assembly and state agencies. She has also been involved in campaigning for state legislators and has four years of state legislature experience working as a legislative aide in the Ohio House for various members.

Jenna is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she completed her M.A. in public policy and management. She graduated from Ashland University with her B.A. in political science and history as an Ashbrook Scholar. In addition to the POWER Commission, she is also an alum of the Jo Ann Davidson Ohio Leadership Institute a member of the following: Ohio Lobbying Association, and the Yvonne Lesicko Memorial Fund Committee – Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation.

Jenna resides in Baltimore, Ohio with her husband Matt and their three children.
