June 2025 Updates

  • Andrew Byer, MPA ’94, has accepted a new position as director of fair and responsible banking at WesBanco. 
  • Eric Meyer, MPA ’14 and Garth Weithman, MA ’16 have been selected as 2025 honorees for the Columbus Business First 40 Under 40.   
  • Justin Poole, MPA ’15, is now working as a project manager at Evergreen Insight Global. 
  • Dilnavaz Cama, MA ’16, director of Off-Campus and Commuter Student Engagement, was awarded The Ohio State University Presidential Staff Award. 
  • Brooke Gibbens, BA ’16, has a new job as an operations consultant at Atlantic Diagnostics.
  • Merritt Ogle, BA ’17, is working as chief operating officer for the Silicon Valley Defense Group. 
  • Emily Graeter, BS ’18, has been promoted to serve as the deputy chief of staff and legislative director to U.S. Rep. Mike Carrey.  
  • Leticia Nketiah, BA ’22, started a new position as health policy analyst at the Maryland Department of Health. 
  • Jim Janosik, BA ’24, has been appointed executive director of School Employee Retirees of Ohio.

  • John Bartle, PhD ’90, has been elected president of the American Society for Public Administration. 
  • Mark Smith, MPA ’98, is now the executive director for the National Alliance for Medicaid in Education. 
  • Kelli Arthur Hykes, MA ’11, was recently promoted to director of government relations and advocacy for the Ohio Nurses Association. 
  • Danyell Lewis, MPA ’14, is now director of neighborhood strategy for the Harlem Children’s Zone. 
  • Claudia Cline, MPA ’16, has been promoted to director of development for the Cleveland Clinic. 
  • Keyang Sun, MPA ’16, is now a senior data scientist at Roche. 
  • Adrienne King, MPA ’17, started a new role as senior UX researcher at Raintree Systems. 
  • Melissa Wasser, MA ’17, has received a promotion to senior policy counsel at the ACLU of the District of Columbia.

  • Holly Saelens, MA ’98, was recently promoted to chief operating officer at Molina Healthcare of Ohio.

  • Caitlin Purk, MPA ’16, has started a new role as senior regional outreach coordinator for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
  • Addie Natalie, MA ’17, began a new role as chief development officer at Communities in Schools of Ohio.
  • Luke Graeter, BA ’18, has started a new position as policy advisor for U.S. Sen. Bernie Moreno (OH).

  • Brad Cromes, MA ’10, has been sworn in as president of the County Treasurers Association of Ohio. 
  • Justin Pinsker, MPA ’10, is working now as a financial manager at the Ohio EPA. 
  • Mandy Porcher, MA ’10, began a new role as vice president, process improvement manager at JP Morgan Chase. 
  • Joseph Clark III, MA ’11, is now a principal and senior vice president at Anzu Partners.  
  • Kathleen Whitmore Lombardo, BA ’19, accepted a new job as an associate attorney at Soar Aviation Law LLC.
