GAO Names Glenn College to Educators’ Advisory Panel

Comptroller General of the United States Gene Dodaro has added the John Glenn College of Public Affairs to the Comptroller General’s Educators’ Advisory Panel.

"This is a great honor for the Glenn College," said Glenn College Dean Trevor Brown. "The advisory panel receives briefings on Government Accountability Office (GAO) activities, advises the comptroller on strategic planning matters, consults with the GAO on developing staff and on its recruitment of students from public administration and policy schools."

Brown will represent the Glenn College on the panel which is comprised of deans from the nation’s top public administration and policy institutions.

Founded in 1921, the GAO is a legislative branch agency charged with the responsibility of improving the performance and accountability of the federal government for the benefit of the American people. GAO has earned a reputation for objective, fact-based and nonpartisan reviews of government issues and operations.
