Ohio State Remains Leader in Public Administration International Rankings

The Academic Rankings of World Universities (ARWU) released the 2021 ShanghaiRanking of universities in different fields. In this year's rankings, the Ohio State University is ranked 8th in public administration out of 200 universities from around the world and the 4th highest ranked American university. This ranking includes public administration research produced by Glenn College faculty, doctoral students and research staff, as well as scholars in other colleges and departments in the university.

The ShanghaiRankings are a composite of:

  • Volume of publications in top impact factor journals in an academic subject.
  • Volume of publications in top academic subject journals as identified by a team of experts.
  • Citation impact.
  • Degree of international collaboration in published peer reviewed manuscripts.
