Preston Phillips started working for The Ohio State University and the John Glenn College of Public Affairs in 2023. He is a financial analyst for college research centers; a management specialist of Public Administration Review (PAR), the premier journal for public administration research, theory and practice; and a project manager for college facility improvements.
Prior to joining Ohio State, Phillips was active duty in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a major after many years managing military operations around the world. As a student at Ohio State, he has received an undergraduate degree in geomatics engineering and a graduate degree in public policy and management. He also has graduate degrees in human relations from the University of Oklahoma and in aeronautical and astronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
