Shu-Wen Tsai

Shu-Wen Tsai serves as the senior grants and contracts specialist at The Ohio State University Battelle Center for Science, Engineering and Public Policy at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, assisting in the management of a seven-year GEO-ESCON contract awarded by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Office. Her responsibilities include contractual and fiscal aspects of the operation and communication with the government, consortium members, research teams within and outside of The Ohio State University, and various administrative offices on campus to ensure programmatic implementation and regulation compliance.

She has extensive administrative experience within Ohio State serving both the student body as a financial aid counselor and the faculty as a departmental administrator and sponsored programs officer). She has in-depth knowledge in proposal submission processes with federal agencies and private industries and well-rounded contract negotiation experience and understanding of the university’s preferred positions. She also is fluent in multiple languages.
