While Public Affairs degrees are traditionally aimed toward public and nonprofit careers, many Glenn College graduates find success in the business community.

Companies with government relations offices, foundations, lobbyists or legal teams, as well as social entrepreneurs and government contractors, hire graduates with the knowledge to navigate the public policy landscape. 

The management, finance, analytical and leadership skills learned from our undergraduate curriculum will prepare you to go into business making a difference. 

Career path:

  • In addition to her doctorate in public administration, Dr. Girth holds a Master of Business Administration from the George Washington University where she specialized in management decision-making. Her teaching and research approach is supported by over a decade as a manager in global management consulting firm and as a certified project manager.
